What A Tale A Fox Could Tell ...

If you could read my mind love ... What a tale my thoughts could tell ... Just like an old time movie ... 'Bout a ghost from a wishing well ... In a castle dark or a fortress strong ... With chains upon my feet ... You know that ghost is me ... And I will never be set free ... As long as I'm a ghost you can't see ...

Day 22: Generation Gap

It's a wonder that the interactions and experiences we get from and how we react to such varies with just a mere change in a variable.

It's been almost a month now since I've also joined this online dating site suggested by a friend. It's not that I'm complaining with the many people who sent me messages but there's a pattern that I've started to notice already. Flattered as I would feel but I kinda get a weird feeling everytime some sents me a message because the moment I would check their profile, it's either they're too gay for me, meaning that they're more gay (or gayer ... if such a word do exists) than me, or there at least twice and a half my age. Imagine.

It's okay if there would only be one or two of that age who would message me but why does it multiplies? There's this 55 years old Irish guy who keeps on messaging me and bugging me on why I haven't yet replied to his email; then there's also this another 50 year old guy, I forgot from where, who thinks I'm Japanese. Imagine, do I really look Japanese right now? :D

Is my beauty just for the "aged" ones? How come they outnumbered the ones that belongs to my age group? :|

Then there's also the case for my batchmate ... I'll just keep it's identity a secret. Yesterday, it was going to buy some ticket and then there's this old guy that pushed him aside so he could go on with his way without even excusing himself. And in a very harsh tone I may add. Well haven't exactly heard it but thats what it said. Then just tonight, after dinner, it was told by the cafeteria lady, also an old one, to put the papers here in this basket and the glasses at this area and not to leave them at the tray after using. And she kept saying this like we didn't know anything. Weird thing is that it wasn't it's paper and glass that was not properly set aside.

I know I can't compare the two situations that we had but one thing's for sure, no matter what age generation you belong to, it is really not that easy to meet half way. Hahaha. What a weird conclusion I just made. :D
