Day 30: Queer As Folk

Noel mentioned this series to me almost the end of last year but I never paid much attention to it at first because I couldn't see or get a copy of it and it wasn't that popular. But now, with the priveledge of having internet in our room, I was able to get a copy of the entire series. Okay, still 94% for the last season but hey, I just finished season 1 last night so I think I can still wait for it to finish. Hehehe.

Gosh, this series is really a very ... err ... eye opening experience. Well, there's the naughty scenes I have to admit but the story also is really something that is realistic enough that could happen to me. Unlike with other tv shows, this is more sensible even how wild some scenes are. So this one is not for those who can watch queers (gays and lesbians) making out or seeing them nude. But this is not porn take note. :D

What's nice for me about this series are, aside from the hunky and gorgeous men ... or gay, the dialogues that they used, the situations, the sarcasms, the punch lines, and more. Well there are also some boring scenes but I guess capturing every aspect of their lives is one of it's strength that made me fell in love with this show. :)

This series was derived from the British version, of the same title as well. But as I searched the web for more details, I kinda assumed that it didn't go well as the US version did. Or maybe the US version had more ... "skin" exposures. Hehehe. :D

Hahaha ... I just thought of something as I was writing this. What if there were four of us happy people in our batch ... would we be like them? Hmmm, I wonder. :)
